Looking Back
Below you'll see some of our older equipment. It's long gone now, but in its day, this equipment was just great and it did the job it was required to do. One this page you'll be able to click like you can on other pages to see a larger picture, and when possible information will be listed beneath the smaller photo. Remember, just right click on the larger picture and hit back to return to this page. Enjoy.
This was a 1973 engine. It was purchased new and was the last new fire engine until we received our 2006 Spartan in August.
More information is coming on these historic trucks.
The old rescue truck.
Before there was such a thing as 911, each fire company had it's own dispatchers. Here were two of the best men that ever answered emergency calls. Tom Johnson, left, and William "RIP" Collins.
This is the last engine before the Spartan. Community Volunteer Fire Co. of Mahaffey has purchased this vehicle. It is a 1982 Sanford.
